213 and 223 Park Avenue
The home at 213 Park Avenue used to stand at 217, 219, and 221 Park. Behind it stands a house, shown below, inspired by the architecture of local builder Earl Young.
Another photo of the house at 213 Park is shown to the left. It is the house at the far right.
223 Park Avenue was once the home of noted Charlevoix writer and used bookstore (Dockside Press) owner William Ratigan. He was the author of many books about the Great Lakes, both fiction and non-fiction. His book Great Lakes Shipwrecks and Survivals has never been out of print. The right wing of the house has been removed.
